RFP for Emergency Medical Services
Dear Upper Freehold Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
Please provide a copy of all submitted RFPs for emergency medical services.
Yours faithfully,

Dianne,
RWJ would cover from 0600 hrs to 1800 hrs seven days a week, the
per diems would cover 4 shift a week 1800 hrs to 0600 hrs to help the
volunteers, the volunteers would cover 3 shifts a week from 1800 hrs to
0600 hrs. If there are no per diem to help the volunteers then mutual aid
would be in effect
hope this helps
Carol

Good morning Wil,
Thank you for the update. To clarify, which shifts would RWJ be covering
in January 2020 and which shifts would per diems be covering for
January-December and which shifts would the volunteers be covering for
January-December?

Diane
The prorated (revised) budget submitted to UFT is based on continuing with
rjw for the first three month of 2020. AFAS used 3 months of the 2019
actual costs plus 9 months of 2020 projected cost.
The percentage discrepancy is a result of rounding but the call ratio can
be carried out to 1/100th of a percentage point to calculate the
percentage costs. I hope this answers your questions.
I’ve heard from Mayor-elect Fritts that rjw is only willing to continue to
31 January without a fee but charge $17,500 for February. I will update
the proposed 2020 AFAS budget accordingly.

Good afternoon Wil,
My first question relates to the prorated amount for 9 months. Is the
math not as simple as taking the 12 month total, dividing it by 12
months and multiplying by 12? If not, please describe the considerations
applied in reaching the total 9 month amount of $282,224. My second
question relates to the percentage breakout between UFT and Allentown.
The call ratio indicated a breakout of 73% for UFT and 27% for Allentown
but the dollar breakout comes to 74% for UFT vs. 26% for Allentown.
Please advise. Thank you,
