Dear Howell Township,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

Patrol Officer Brett Kyle, Badge #684 is currently assigned to Evening Shift as per the desk officer. I am told that he has been employed with the Howell Township Police Department as a full time patrol officer since October of 2019. Please provide the following activity from October 2019 through December 31, 2023.

1. Total number of vehicle stops this officer has made.

2. Total number of pedestrian stops this officer has made.

3. Total number of vehicle stops this officer has made that resulted in a vehicle search.

4. Total number of summonses / citations this officer has issued.

5. Total number of DWI arrests this officer has made.

6. Total number of arrests this officer has made.

7. Total number of narcotics related arrests this officer has made.

8. Total number of illness/sick/medical days this officer has used.

9. Total number of union days this officer has taken.

The requested information will be utilized for a community watchdog report to be released to the public.

I DO NOT approve any extension. This information is easily obtained through police data systems.
