Architect/Builder Names of Favorite Houses
Dear Brick Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.

Hi there! My name is Michael and I am working on a project for an architecture class. Can you please provide the architect's/builder’s names for the following four addresses? If the interior floor plans are available to view, could you please send them along as well? Thank you!

In response to your attached OPRA request:
Attached are the permits requested. On the application the Architect and contractor of record is applicable are listed. The Building Department did not have anything for 360 Route 35 from 1995.
ADDITIONALLY: Floor Plans: You have requested access to building plans in your OPRA request attached. N.J.A.C. 5:3-2.2 (a) 1. provides that building plans submitted in conjunction with any permit application are exempt from disclosure under OPRA. The Reason for this exemption is building plans contain details about building construction and also about building security and safety systems that should not be available to just anyone on request.
Under the common law right of access to public records, the building plans may still be available. The common law right of access to public records does not prohibit an individual from receiving the record as long as they demonstrate a valid reason for doing so. The individual requesting the record must submit a written request to the Construction Official, Daniel Newman, stating the reason for obtaining or viewing the record. If the explanation is reasonable, access to the public record is granted.

Though the Office of the Township Clerk processes all of the OPRA requests for the Township, WE CANNOT ANSWER QUESTIONS regarding documents obtained from other departments.

I just double check with the Building Department and Permit #90-5189 was for 417 Princeton and #95-0157 was for 656 Harbor Road (both included in my first email).
