This email is to acknowledge receipt of the Open Public Records Act (OPRA)
request by the Custodian of Records on 10/06/2023, which was submitted on
10/06/2023 at 1:50 PM. As such, the seven (7) business day deadline to
respond to your request is 10/18/2023.

 

The OPRA request sought access to the following:

1.  All emails and attachments received to and from LT Thomas Caroll  to
 and from SK ENVironmental (Steven Olivetti),  ( dated ~ August 1, 2023
and after until present) including. preliminary report, and copy of  final
report from 8/3/2023 inspection of the Middlesex Borough Police Department
building.

2.  Copy of the officer's request/report received July 26, 2023,  by you,
outlining their concerns within the building that prompted the call to SK
Environmental to inspect the building.
 

If your request for access to a government record has been denied or
unfilled within the seven (7) business days required by law, you have a
right to challenge the decision by the Borough of Middlesex to deny
access. At your option, you may either institute a proceeding in the
Superior Court of New Jersey or file a complaint with the Government
Records Council (GRC) by completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form.

Dear Carmen Modica,

Requested - Copy of the officer's request/report received July 26, 2023, by you,
outlining their concerns within the building that prompted the call to SK
Environmental to inspect the building.

Clarification of "by you" - Lt Thomas Carroll received a request/report/notice/memo of concern which prompted his call to SK environmental to inspect the police department building. That is the documentation I am requesting. It was a request made by someone in the police department.

you on October 10, 2023.  We received clarification on October 12, 2023,
