Hi Len,

Sorry for the delay with the report as things have been crazy these past two weeks.  As we discussed, the results of the air samples collected within the police dept building areas all tested with low acceptable levels of common fungi.  During the inspection we discussed the need to bring in outside fresh air and operate the exhaust fans for the two lockers rooms and gym area, and in the front prisoner entry area, which reportedly these system were immediately turned on following the on-site inspection.  The only mold growth observed was on the sheetrock above the drop-in ceiling tiles in the detectives office, which the affected surfaces of the sheetrock tested appropriately dry, and are in an isolated area above the ceiling.   Although the sheetrock and insulation above the sheetrock will need to be remediated, currently based on the indoor air samples collected in the detectives' office, and lockers room areas, the air quality regarding mold spores identified in these occupied areas of the building areas are considered normal/acceptable.

I will send the full report as soon as possible with the details of how the affected sheetrock and insulation should be removed from above the drop-ceiling in the detectives' office.
