Dear Hillsborough Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

In response to your follow-up question below, we are not in receipt or
have record of such a request, but will process the request today.
Pursuant to the new OPRA modernization law C 47:1A-1 et seq. The new form
must be used in all new requests submitted after September 3, 2024.

The Planning and Zoning Department states: Only four sets of
Environmental Commission minutes have been confirmed as "approved"
to date - see attached.
If you would like to submit a new OPRA for the balance of the
minutes for the three 2024 EC meetings, please do so no earlier
than April 01, 2025. At that time, please specify EC meeting
dates: 01-22-24; 06-24-24; and 10-28-24. Thank you.
Attached are all 2024 meeting minutes from Sustainable
Hillsborough Steering Committee (our "green team").
Note that the June and October meetings were cancelled and the
committee does not meet in August.
Feel free to contact our office if you are looking for anything
specific.

If your request for access to a government record has been denied
or unfilled within the seven (7) business days required by law,
you have a right to challenge the decision by the Township of
Hillsborough to deny access. At your option, you may either
institute a proceeding in the Superior Court of New Jersey or file
a complaint with the Government Records Council (GRC) by
completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form. You may contact
the GRC by toll-free telephone at 866-850-0511, by mail at P.O.
