Dear Cranford Board of Education,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Records requested:
We hereby request complete and accurate electronic copies of any and all bid packages (also known as bid proposals), including contractor (or other construction firm) in connection with the Cranford BOE Additions & Renovations at Brookside Place, Bloomingdale Ave, Walnut Ave, & Hillside Ave Schools project from 2/11/2025 through the present date.

This request is for electronic copies that are both downloadable and printable.

Dear Sandy,
The Cranford Board of Education is in receipt of your OPRA request. The
District does not maintain the records in the medium requested and the bid
specifications did not require that bid submissions include an electronic
copy.
Having said that and based upon receiving 11 bid proposals that are large
in volume, I will have them all converted to the electronic format you
requested and sent over as soon as possible.
I did convert the low bidder to the electronic format you requested and
attached it to this email.

He also told me that since I sent them (originally) as PDF's you should
have been able to open them without issue. Hopefully the link will work
for now.
