Mount Bethel Church Project
Dear Mansfield Township (Warren),
This is a request for public records made under N.J.S. 47:1A-1 et seq., the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA) and the common law right of access. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
RECORDS REQUESTED:
For the period January 1, 2014 to the present, all public records including but not limited to communications, meetings, and documents RELATING to the Mount Bethel Church Project. Mount Bethel Church is located in the Port Murray section of Mansfield Township, Warren County, New Jersey.
DEFINITIONS APPLICABLE TO THIS REQUEST:
(1) "Communication" or "communications" means any and all inquiries, discussions, conferences, conversations, negotiations, agreements, meetings, presentations, interviews, telephone conversations, letters correspondence, notes telegrams, facsimiles, electronic mail, memoranda, or other forms of communications, including but not limited to both oral and written communications.
(2) "Record" or "records" means any paper, written or printed book, document, drawing, map, plan, photograph, microfilm, data processed or image processed document, information stored or maintained electronically or by sound-recording or in a similar device, or any copy thereof, that has been made, maintained or kept on file in the course of his/her or its official business by the Mayor and/or any present or former public employee of Mansfield Township.
(3) “Meeting” or “meetings” means and includes any gathering whether corporeal or by means of communication equipment, which is attended by, or open to, all of the members of a public body, held with the intent, on the part of the members of the body present, to discuss or act as a unit upon the specific public business of that body. Meeting does not mean or include any such gathering (1) attended by less than an effective majority of the members of a public body, or (2) attended by or open to all the members of three or more similar public bodies at a convention or similar gathering. - N.J. Stat. § 10:4-8(b)
(4) "OPRAmachine Website" means this website used for tracking the content and disposition of Open Public Records requests at the state, regional and municipal levels within New Jersey.
Please provide the requested government records as soon as possible, but not later than seven business days after receiving the request. Please ensure that all responses are provided electronically via this OPRAmachine Website only.
