Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. •The position of Chief of police;
•Any questions or clarifications on waivers;
•Announcements for the police chief’s competitive examination;
•Any copies of mailed-in submissions for a waiver.

a waiver", the Commission is denying your request. The unit that processes
Examination Waivers has not completed processing waivers for the 2025
Police Chief Examination cycle and as such, all documentation remains
advisory, consultative, or deliberative until such time as an approval or
denial can be issued. Any requests for this documentation will be denied
until such time.
This response does not waive or limit any other rights afforded the
Commission under OPRA and the common law, which are all expressly
reserved.
