Zoning

Jolleen made this OPRA request to Pequannock Township Automatic anti-spam measures are in place for this older request. Please let us know if a further response is expected or if you are having trouble responding.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Zoning Officer, of Pequannock Township,

Pursuant to the Open Public Records Act (N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq.), I am requesting access to the following public records:
1. All records, complaints, reports, or communications (email, phone logs, etc.) received by the Zoning Department that led to the issuance of the Notice of Abatement dated July 1, 2025, regarding a POD (temporary storage unit) at 13 Ferndale Place, Pompton Plains, NJ.
2. The identity of the individual or entity who made the complaint or report that triggered the inspection and violation notice.
3. A copy of any inspection report or notes made on or before July 1, 2025, pertaining to this property and violation.

For context and clarity, I am particularly seeking to determine whether the zoning complaint was submitted by any party affiliated with the property, due to ongoing issues regarding the contents of the POD.

Please provide these records in electronic format if available. If there are any fees for searching or copying these records, please inform me before processing my request. If you deny any part of this request, please cite the legal basis for each denial.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
