BACKGROUND:

According to Township Code § 235-12, the Township's Affordable Housing Agency shall serve as the Township's Rent Control Board and Code § 70-3(B)(1) prescribes that the Affordable Housing Agency shall consist of five members, and two alternate members. Yet, the Township's Local Government Officer (LGO) Roster shows only two members--Thomas Howley and Patricia Emerson--as being Agency members who filed or who were required to file 2022 Financial Disclosure Statements. The object of the present request is to determine if additional Agency members have been appointed to the Agency and, if so, to identify them by name.

RECORDS REQUESTED:

1. A roster listing all members of the Affordable Housing Agency that served during 2022. If no such record exists, please provide a) the resolution or other writing evidencing the Mayor's appointment of each person who served on the Agency during 2022 and b) the resignation letter or other writing indicating the cessation of membership of any person who served on the Agency during 2022.

2. Minutes of all meetings of the Rent Control Board held during 2022. For any meeting held in 2022 for which minutes are not disclosable, please provide the meeting agenda.

3. If no records are responsive to #2 above, please provide the minutes of the most recent meeting of the Rent Control Board.
