Dear Middlesex County Municipal Joint Insurance Fund,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
Copies of documents, ledgers, spreadsheets, correspondence, or other records sufficient to show the current payment/nonpayment status of all special assessments on current and former members that have been approved by the JIF Board since 1/1/2022. I believe there were four special assessments approved during this period: one for FY's 2001-2020, another for FY 2021, and now an additional one for FY 2021, and one for FY 2022. Please make it clear if any portion of the special assessments were waived or settled for a smaller amount. Copy of Latest report to commissioners on the 2001 through
2020 Deficit as Adopted by the MCMJIF Board indicating payments made to
date.
Copy of the 2021 Special Budget Assessment as adopted by the
Board, As well as a schedule of payments made to Date.
Copy of the 2021 and 2022 Exhibit Outlining the Assessment as
approved by the Board at its October 2024 meeting.
