Disciplined police
Dear Lavallette Borough,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
In accordance to the recently passed bill (#S2656). I'm requesting a list of all disciplined police officers within the past five years. Included in this list should be their names, offense & the outcome / punishment (if any).

Sorry for not getting back to you yesterday as I was not in the office for a few days. Please accept my apologies as I was not able to send you an extension letter since I was out. The Police Department will need a few more days to respond to your request. I would have sent you an extension letter a few days ago; however, since I was out this did not happen. I do apologize for this. Due to an excess of opra requests that we have received requesting police department documents, the records clerk has requested an extension.
Attached is the extension letter.
Thank you and again, I do apologize for not getting the letter to you by the deadline of yesterday.
