Complaint against police employee

RECORDS REQUESTED:

Page 6 of the Brigantine Police Department's 2022 Internal Affairs (IA) Summary shows that a "theft" complaint was initiated by the Police Department against one of its employees and that the IA case is "pending from prior years." I would like

a) the CDR-1, CDR-2 or other form of complaint issued against the employee
b) the police report of the incident out of which this theft complaint arose.
c) the computer aided dispatch (CAD) report related to the incident out of which this theft complaint arose.

Since Brigantine did not advise me whether responsive records existed, a filed a Denial of Access Complaint with the Government Records Council. After receiving the my complaint, the City reconsidered and sent me a response that identified a single record that existed and provided a basis for its decision to deny access.
