Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. Attached please find the response received from the Rumson/Fair Haven Building Department. I attached two surveys for the property that were in the block and lot file. There is no record for anything pertaining to an oil tank. With regard to closed files:
In 1986, electrical permit for outlets, switches for an oven and jacuzzi, plumbing permit for shower and sink, fire permit for forced hot air system
In 1987, electrical permit for smoke detectors
In 1988, plumbing permit to replace toilet, tub and sink
In 1989, building permit for a wood deck (footings and railings)
In 1990, a two-room addition over the garage (plumbing, electrical, fire) with a Certificate of Occupancy issued in March 1993.
In 2004, a fence permit was issued for a fence with gate along the driveway
In 2005, there was a Zoning Board of Adjustment matter for construction of a 2-story addition. They were approved July 21, 2025 and were issued construction permits in February 2006 (48-06) with a Certificate of Occupancy issued September 2007.
In 2006, there was a construction permit issued for a masonry patio and sitting wall with a Certificate of Approval issued September 2007
In 2017, plumbing permit to replace sewer line with a Certificate of Approval issued January 2018.
In March 2021, applied for a generator permit in the side yard which was denied due to location as a corner lot property. Reapplied in June 2021 for standby generator in the rear of the house which was approved and building permits taken out. A Certificate of Approval was issued December 2021.
I am waiting on my Code Enforcement Department to advise of any violations for the property. Once I receive their response, I will follow up on this email with their reply.
