Dear Brick Township,

Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.

I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.

I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

All complaints, reports, or communications (including emails, letters, notes, and internal correspondence) regarding:

Bamboo, vegetation, or overgrowth

Sight obstruction, visibility issues, or traffic hazards near the blind curve/hidden driveway

All inspection records, code enforcement reports, violation notices, or determinations related to the above property and/or condition.

Any records referencing enforcement decisions, including reasons for non-enforcement, cost considerations, or discretion exercised by code enforcement or township officials.

Any correspondence between departments (including but not limited to Code Enforcement, Police Department, Engineering Department, and Public Works) regarding:

Vegetation obstructing roadway visibility

Traffic safety concerns at this location

Any traffic studies, safety evaluations, or sight-distance assessments conducted for this roadway or location.

Any policies, guidelines, or ordinances relied upon by the Township in determining whether to enforce vegetation or bamboo-related violations.

Timeframe: Please provide records from January 1, 2022 to present.
