Trap-Neuter-Return Program Documentation
Dear Bound Brook Borough,
If your municipality does not support or have a program for Trap-Neuter-Return ("TNR") of feral cats, please state as much to close the request for the following records; otherwise, please provide:
1. Copy of current municipal agreement with TNR vendor; if TNR is provided by municipal manpower, please indicate by whom.
2. Written protocol and procedures for implementation of the TNR program and how residents are to access TNR services
3. Copy of budget/ledger showing funds allocated and spent on the TNR program for years 2022 and 2023 (as applicable).

Kindly find attached the Borough's animal control contract. There is not a budget allocated for TNR only.

Thank you for providing a copy of the animal control contract.
Am I correct that the documents requested in #2 related to procedures for TNR do not exist, as Bound Brook does not have a TNR program? I understand that there is no budget item or funding allotted.
My organization gets questions periodically from residents asking about TNR in their towns so we are attempting to have answers for them when they call. Your response is much appreciated and thank you again!
