Dear Veronica Laureigh,

According to Verry vs Franklin Fire District No. 1 GRC 2014-387 (July 2015) OPRA supports that text messages are “government records” subject to disclosure as long as the text messages have been made or received in the coarse of official business. Please send over all text messages you sent or received between yourself and Ray Benedetti with anything in direct regards to Lacey EMS or the Township. If a statement is made that interests Lacey EMS or the Township
It must be included.

Dear Sir:  Please be advised that I am not provided with a government
issued cell phone, nor am I reimbursed by my agency for my cell phone. 
Based on Verry vs. South Bound Brook, my personal cell phone is not
subject me to OPRA and are exempt.  I have turned this matter over to our
Legal Counsel for further clarification and she is requesting additional
time to research the matter.
