Ms. LaGuardia:

The Open Public Records Act operates to make identifiable government
records “readily accessible for inspection, copying or examination.”
Under OPRA, agencies are required to disclose only “identifiable”
government records not otherwise exempt.  In short, OPRA does not
countenance open-ended searches of an agency’s files.

While Critical Race Theory is not part of the District’s curriculum, the
concepts of Diversity, Equity, and LGBTQ are infused throughout the
curriculum as required by state law.  Therefore, in order to be able to
provide you with identifiable, responsive records, I request you provide
additional clarity as to what specific records you are seeking.

Thank you.
