Dear Plainfield City,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
All police misconduct information required to be published for the reporting year 2024 pursuant to the Internal Affairs Policies & Procedures Section 9.11 (available here: https://www.nj.gov/oag/dcj/agguide/direc...)
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. However, you may also direct me to the precise on your website where this is available.

Hello Ms. Nieves,
I received your 3/12/25 note along with the note from Lt. Richards
referring to my request as a "repeat request" and indicating that it was
"turned over to Internal Affairs for processing." - I still have not
received any of the requested records. I am concerned because this is an
important request filed more than one month ago. Please advise when the
requested reports will be provided.
