Dear Dumont Borough,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.

Copies of ALL invoices for all fire extinguisher, kitchen fire suppression and fire alarm services from 2020 to present

Please be advised that we require a seven (7) day extension to 4/25/26 to
respond to your attached records request.
Additionally, as per Resolution #23-283 (see attached), the Borough of
Dumont may assess a special service for extraordinary and voluminous OPRA
requests in which time spent in fulfilling the request exceeds 3 hours
and/or are in excess of 100 pages . Fulfillment of your request is
expected to take approximately 13.5 hours. Accordingly, a special service
charge of $25/hr. will apply, based upon the hourly salary calculated for
the lowest-paid employee that will conduct the search in excess of 3
hours. With this rate, $262.50 would be the initial estimate of special
service charge and the Borough requires a 50% deposit of $131.25. The
final cost will be prorated accordingly should the search and production
take fewer or more hours than estimated. Please forward your 50% deposit
of $131.25., via check made payable to the Borough of Dumont or cash, to
the Borough Clerk’s Office, 50 Washington Avenue, Dumont, NJ 07628.
