This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.

Records requested:

The following records request pertains to the public Facebook page of the South River Rescue Squad, a group set forth under ordinances adopted by the Borough of South River:

1. The current list of names of the individuals blocked, banned or limited in any capacity from posting, commenting, liking, or otherwise interacting in any capacity on the South River Rescue Squad’s public Facebook page.

2. Any emails or text messages sent to/from administrator(s) of the South River Rescue Squad’s public Facebook page between August 1st, 2019 and September 17th, 2019 specifically pertaining to the blocking/banning of individuals from liking, commenting on or posting on South River Rescue Squad’s public Facebook page.

3. List(s) of the deleted, hidden, blocked or banned comments, that were posted on the South River Rescue Squad’s public Facebook page between August 1st, 2019 and September 17th, 2019.

4. Name and rank and/or position title of the page administrator(s) responsible for the deletion, hiding or blocking of the comments posted on the South River Rescue Squad’s public facebook page between August 1st, 2019 and September 17th, 2019.

The Borough of South River received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA) request on September 17, 2019. The official Records Custodian, William Bray, received your OPRA request on September 17, 2019. The Borough of South River does not have or manage any Facebook Page for its Rescue Squad department. Therefore, there are no records in response to this request.

On the South River Rescue Squad's Facebook page, it has been stated by page administrator's that the page belongs to a borough department. Therefor, if they are not lying, they are subject to the Open Public Records Act. Please provide the requested information.
