Dear North Haledon Borough,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.

Records requested: I am looking for all information related to 12 park street’s Septic Tank. This was found during a sweep. According to chapter 670, all tanks should have been properly abandoned prior to Public sewage hook up. Please provide all historical documents related to this tank as this house is currently a public system.

Dearani.Linda, North Haledon Borough

The whole town converted to sewers between the years 1981-1983. No permits were taken out the remove the septic tanks. Most were smashed and left in place.
