In response to your OPRA request submitted on 5/3/2023, I offer the following information:

1. For former Chief Michael Hughes, his or her "name, title, position, most recent annual salary, length of service, date of separation and the reason therefor." (See N.J.S.A. 47:1A-10).

Name: Michael T. Hughes Jr.
Title: Chief of Police
Position: Chief of Police-Egg Harbor Township
Most Recent Salary: Base Salary-$165,386 - With Longevity $173,655.30
Length of Service-32 years with Egg Harbor Township, 30 years as a Police Officer and 2 years as a Police Dispatcher
Date of Seperation-3/31/2023
Reason therefor- Retirement

2. Any separation, termination or other type of agreement that sets forth the terms and conditions of former Chief Michael Hughes' separation from employment with the Township.

There are no separation or termination agreements. I attached his most recent employment agreement and he retired in accordance with the terms and conditions of his employment agreement.
