Dear Kevin O'Shea,
How do I go about filing an ethics compliant? The aforementioned member has not reported their income property earnings? She failed to disclose her weekly summer rental income. She rents out her back home (weekly change overs throughout the summer) for monetary value which is reportedly in excess of $2,000. She is required to report this income under NJ state law.

I would just caution that income for the purposes of these disclosure
forms do have exceptions whereby some income may not be required to be
disclosed. Here is an excerpt from the State website:
Instructions For Filing Disclosure Statements - 2020

• "Income" for purposes of these rules shall be as defined by
the Internal Revenue Service, except as otherwise provided
in N.J.S.A. 18A:12-26(a)(1) and also include loans that are
not from lending institutions or family members.
