Retroactive salary payments
Dear Hudson County Prosecutor's Office,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
I am respectfully requesting a current list of all Hudson County Prosecutor's Office employees names, corresponding positions (investigative, legal, clerical, etc.), covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the Office of the Hudson County Prosecutor and PBA Local No. 232 of January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2027 that received retroactive salary increase payments applicable to the effective dates in the contract and the amounts paid to each employee.

Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office previously acknowledged receipt of your OPRA-Common Law Right to Access request with an original deadline of 4/16/2026. During a check of the request in email form, it was noted that it does not contain the three certifications required under the Open Public Records Act, as amended by P.L. 2024, c.16 (effective September 3, 2024). Please either completed the attached HCPO OPRA Request Form or respond to this email with the below certification(s):

Please certify if you have been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
Please clarify and certify if the requested government records for a commercial purpose as defined under OPRA.
Please certify if you are seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding. Note: If you confirmed above that the records sought are in connection with a legal proceeding, identification of that proceeding is required.
Additionally, please confirm that you are seeking:
1. The current list of all Hudson County Prosecutor's Office employees’ names & corresponding positions (investigative, legal, clerical, etc.);
2. The list of all Hudson County Prosecutor's Office employees that received retroactive salary increase payments under the CBA (PBA Local No. 232 2023 – 2027) and the amount paid to each employee.
Until a clarification is received our review and response cannot be made.
Please respond before 4/14/2026 otherwise this request will be closed requiring you to submit a new request if you still want to receive records.
Upon receipt of the clarification, HCPO will then review and a response will be provided as required by law.
