Dear Mr. Caplan:

 

Kean University originally received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA)
request on December 14, 2020. As such, the seven (7) business-day deadline
to respond to your request is Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

 

Your request sought access to the following government records:

Please provide me the resumes of applicants for the position of adjunct
professor of criminal justice between the period of January 1, 2017, and

Please be advised that your request will require an extension of time as
University operations have been impacted by COVID-19 guidelines and
protocols. As such, your request will be extended until January 27, 2021.
OPRA allows custodians to seek extensions of time pursuant to N.J.S.A.
47:1A-5i. Specifically, OPRA states that “the requestor shall be advised
by the custodian when the record can be made available. If the record is
not made available by that time, access shall be deemed denied.”
