Dear Ogdensburg Borough,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-6(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
- Permits and Inspections: I am requesting copies of any and all open and closed building or construction permits, as well as associated inspection records, approvals, or violations.
- Code and Zoning Violations: any complaints filed by the municipality or citations for code or other violations at the property. Any and all related documents to zoning approvals, variances, or use permits to confirm the property's compliance with local ordinances.
- Tax Information: Any and all documents for recent property record card and any records of pending or finalized property assessments to verify the tax information.
- Environmental Records: Any and all documents regarding inspections or records concerning potential environmental issues, such as water wells, sanitary disposal systems, or past or present underground tanks, and their remediation status.
- Property Information:
A copy of any sewer maps or records related to the property's sewer connection.
- The current certificate of occupancy.
Any document indicating if the property is in a flood zone.
- A list of any off-site conditions that may affect the property's value, as maintained by the municipality.
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

On December 1, 2025 I responded asking for clarification of your OPRA
request.
Please clarify the documents you are requesting and the properties you are
requesting the documents for.
To date I have not received any clarification as to the documents you are
requesting.
Please clarify before Friday, December 12, 2025 or this OPRA request will
be considered closed.

Dear Clerk Ogdensburg,
Your previous reply was addressed. The documents are clearly listed on my request and my reply (refer to my previous reply). You never asked for an address in your previous reply or else it would have been supplied. The address WAS listed on the application. For convenience, it is 12 Richards Street. The timeline of the documents requested are from 1950 to present.
Please forward these documents in a timely manner as other OPRA requests for "any and all documents" have been fulfilled previously by your office.

Good Afternoon,
The Borough of Ogdensburg is in receipt of your OPRA request received
November 26, 2025; an email was sent requesting clarification of this
request. Clarification was emailed and received on December 8, 2025. The
request was for various documents for 12 Richards Street, Ogdensburg Block
4 Lot 7.
