Good afternoon,

The County's Health Department records (prior to 5/2025) are now available
online at [1]https://www.co.hunterdon.nj.us/2910/Sept...

At this link you will have access to all septic, well, underground storage
tank and construction referral records on file with the Health Department
prior to May of 2025. The County will not be separately providing these
records as they can be accessed directly. However, if you have any
problems with the website please contact my office and we will assist you.

Please note that records created after May of 2025 have not yet been
uploaded. Please contact the Health Department directly at 908-788-1351 to
request those records.

Requests for closed Health Department Complaints must still be made via an
OPRA request.

PWTA records are only available to the current property owner by appearing
in person at the Health Department with a copy of your photo ID and proof
of ownership.

Based upon the foregoing, the County has deemed your request to be closed.

If your request for access to a government record has been denied or
unfilled within seven (7) business days required by law, you have a right
to challenge the decision by Hunterdon County to deny access. At your
option, you may either institute a proceeding in the Superior Court of New
Jersey or file a complaint with Government Records Council (GRC) by
completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form. You may contact the GRC by
toll-free telephone at 866-850-0511, by mail at P.O. Box 819, Trenton,
NJ,08625, by e-mail at [email address], or at their website at
www.state.nj.us/grc. The GRC can also answer other questions about the
law. All questions regarding complaints filed in Superior Court should be
directed to the Court Clerk in your County.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact my office.
