I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
All (open, dismissed, active) summons issued for code violations on properties in East Rutherford in 2026.
All logged visitations and investigation reports from code enforcement officials pertaining to alleged code violations on properties in East Rutherford in 2026.
All investigation reports and summons issued by code enforcement relating to alleged violations of Borough Code Section 340-9 for all properties in East Rutherford in 2025 and 2026.
All property inspection reports and notices relating to violations of Borough Code Sections 389-37 and 340-9 for all properties in East Rutherford in 2025 and 2026.
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.
Yours faithfully,

Good afternoon
In response to your OPRA request will produce a large number of paper documents that may or may not have to be redacted. It will also require a search of emails from our IT department. Both of these may incur additional costs and or time. Please advise if you are able to be more specific in the documents that you are requesting. It will help us better respond to your request. If you can please let us know by the end of the day Tuesday, March 24, 2026 so we can proceed with your request. Thank you.

Hi!
Thank you very much for your help.
I'm specifically looking for Notices/Summons/Violations and/or property
inspection reports that were issued relative to alleged violations of
Borough Code Sections 340-9 and 340-7 for residential properties in East
Rutherford from 2025 to 2026.
In this connection, if that request is still too generalized, I'm
primarily looking for any alleged code violations relating to the
condition of the exterior paint/siding of residential properties in East
Rutherford.
Thank you again very much for your time and assistance.
