Dear Edison School District,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Open Public Records Act reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Edison School District's handling of my OPRA request 'Referendum Firms'.
This OPRA request has been getting extensions from November 21st 2019 to March 9th 2020. The municipality then let the OPRA lapse by not replying on March 9th, and then asking for an extension from March 10th to March 16th 2020. As such, this OPRA is many months over due, has lapsed, and still have gotten no reply or any information whatsoever. The entire purpose of this OPRA was to provide the public with information prior to two referendums, however, due to this lack of response and poor record keeping, the Edison taxpayers did not have the opportunity to educate themselves fairly prior to vote. It is now May 14th, almost 6 months from my original request.

Mr. Nelson, I contacted our attorney, who was reviewing the emails so
they could be redacted, in response to your OPRA request. She notified me
that the number of documents that needed to be reviewed was over 3,000.
