Nevertheless, I have confirmed that this Department does not track deaths by township. Data related to opioid deaths is available by county, not municipality, on the NJ CARES website at: https://www.njoag.gov/programs/nj-cares/.... Please note that the Department of Health (DOH) maintains morbidity statistics and may have data related to the causes of death noted in your email. The contact information for DOH is Center for Health Statistics, New Jersey Department of Health, PO Box 360, Trenton, NJ 08625-0360, Web: www.nj.gov/health/chs, e-mail: [email address]. You may also file an OPRA request with DOH via the online portal noted above.
Finally, information related to opioid deaths by township might also be maintained by the local county prosecutor's office (Passaic County Prosecutor's Office), or the local police departments for the towns noted in your email.
