I did not submit a blanket request, I was very specific in which documents I was looking to obtain.

1. Current CO of the property.
2. Report of current violations on the property
3. Report of open permits on the property.

My client is in contract to purchase the premises and I believe these are a valid requests prior to acquiring a property.
