This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
I am requesting open/closed permits and/or violations from January 2000 to present, as well as the Property Card. Also, I would like to know information regarding the presence of an underground oil tank and/or septic tank, if applicable, including permits, remediation reports, environmental reports, and surveys showing underground oil tank and/or septic tank location.

Message received. We will send your request to the Tax Assessor's Office
for property cards, and to Construction for open/closed permits and if
they have a survey. As far as violations, please advise if you want
Zoning violations, to which we will send to our Zoning Office.
Environmental reports would be issued by the NJDEP. Their website and for
their list of known contaminated sites in NJ can be found

For septic records/information, you will need to contact the Board of
Health in Bernards Township, as Bernardsville has shared health services
with Bernards Township. Their website
