Dear Passaic City,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
Tax Delinquent
- A list of all property addresses that have an unpaid property tax bill
for the last 12 months. Please also include in the list or separately a
list of properties whose property tax bill was liened against the
property.
Please include the amount owed, and the name of the property owner.
Water Shut Off / Utility Liens
- A list of all property addresses that have had their water bill liened
against the property, have failed to pay their water bill, or have had the
water shut off at any point in the last 12 months.
Please include the amount owned, and the name of the property owner.
Vacant properties.
- Excel Listing of Vacant Houses with Property Address, Property Owner Name and Mailing Address, and any Other Contact Information you have available.
Code violations
- A list of all property with code violations from the past 12 months.
Please include the owner information, and the nature of the violation, and the current violation status.
Please send the files as an excel sheet if possible.
Please send the files separately.

Good Afternoon,
Attached is the delinquent tax report and the open lien report. We are not responsible for water shut offs or utility liens and do not have any records regarding them.
As per the Engineering Department they have no records pertaining this request.
Attached please find the response to OPRA # 366. Please be advise, as per the Daniel law we can not provide owners name or mailing address.
Division of Housing has attached an open violation PDF report for this request for the past 12 months.
Per the Building Department, there are no documents pertaining to this request.
They cannot generate reports with this specific information.
