Property Information
Dear Montclair Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
1. A list of property addresses that, as of today, have delinquent property taxes and open property liens. This list needs to include amounts of balances owed.
2. A list of property addresses that have received any code violations since the beginning of the year. Please provide the type of violation.
3. A list of all residential property addresses that are currently vacant or abandoned.

1. Montclair Code Enforcement does not maintain a list of properties with
delinquent taxes.
2. All 2022 violations are attached.
3. The most current vacant property list is attached.
This OPRA is now considered filled and closed with the Code Enforcement
Office.

No problem. OPRAs are sent out to the individual departments based on what is indicated in the request. The copies are sent out by the Clerk's Office to each department. The Montclair Tax Office would have the information you requested. If you submitted the OPRA to the Clerk's Office, I would reach out to them and see if it was sent to the Tax Dept.
