I am requesting open/closed permits and/or violations from January 2000 to present, as well as the Property Card. I would like to know which permits are still open and need to be closed. Also, I would like to know information regarding the presence of an underground oil tank and/or septic tank, if applicable, including permits, remediation reports, environmental reports, and surveys showing underground oil tank and/or septic tank location.

Dear ADRIANA ONDARZA,
The City of Summit has received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA)
request dated 8/25/2020 2:00:00 PM. Your request is in review and will be
responded to within 7 business days.
During the review process you will be contacted if there is a need for
clarification of the requested records or if an extension of the response
deadline is needed.
Your OPRA request sought access to the following information:

If your request for access to a government record has been denied or
unfilled within the seven (7) business days required by law, you have a
right to challenge the decision by the City of Summit to deny access. At
your option, you may either institute a proceeding in the Superior Court
of New Jersey or file a complaint with the Government Records Council
(GRC) by completing the Denial of Access Complaint Form. You may contact
the GRC by toll-free telephone at 866-850-0511, by mail at P.O. Box 819,
Trenton, NJ, 08625, by e-mail at [email address], or at their web site
at www.state.nj.us/grc. The GRC can also answer other questions about the
law. All questions regarding complaints filed in Superior Court should be
