Promotion criteria
Dear Berkeley Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
Document related to the chiefs recommendation for all promotions as specified in the below Berkeley Township Ordinance, from 2011 to current. This would include any and all documents where the chiefs recommendation was required and was noted , initialed or signed to show compliance with this ordinance.
§ 14-5.3
Promotions.
[1974 Code § 28-23; Ord. No. 09-05-OAB]
In determining eligibility for a promotion, the Appropriate Authority, upon recommendation by the Chief, shall give consideration to performance evaluations and New Jersey Department of Personnel test criteria.
