This email is in response to your OPRA request of May 29 for “All use of
force reports filed by the police department from January 1st, 2017, to
December 31st, 2019.” Attached please find the records requested. There
are five juvenile reports where the Borough has redacted the juvenile’s
name and address for each report pursuant to Digital First Media v Ewing
Township 2020 WL 808390.
The Borough reserves the right to raise any additional objections,
exemptions, or other privileges in response to this request. Should you
disagree with this decision, you have the right to appeal. OPRA permits a
person who believes he or she has been illegally denied access to a public
record to file a complaint with the GRC, or file suit in Superior Court to
challenge the decision and compel disclosure. For more information, you
