OPRA Request – Qualification and Inspection Records Concerning Darren Terrizzi
Dear Brick Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested: I request the following records concerning Darren Terrizzi and Brick Township Code Enforcement/Zoning procedures:
1. Records identifying Darren Terrizzi’s current job title, position, department, employment status, and date of hire with Brick Township.
2. Current job description for the position or positions held by Darren Terrizzi with Brick Township.
3. Copies of records maintained by Brick Township showing Darren Terrizzi’s licenses, certifications, credentials, or training relating to code enforcement, zoning enforcement, property maintenance enforcement, or similar enforcement-related duties.
4. Copies of records maintained by Brick Township showing Darren Terrizzi’s training, qualifications, licenses, certifications, credentials, coursework, continuing education, specialized training, professional development, or experience relating to plant identification, vegetation identification, bamboo identification, bamboo classification, invasive species identification, horticulture, arboriculture, landscaping, or similar subject matter.
5. Copies of any written policy, procedure, checklist, training material, reference material, guidance document, or standard used by Brick Township Code Enforcement or Zoning personnel to identify bamboo, classify bamboo by species or type, distinguish running bamboo from clumping bamboo, or determine whether bamboo constitutes a code violation.
6. Blank or current copies of forms, templates, checklists, inspection report forms, field inspection forms, re-inspection forms, complaint intake forms, notice of violation templates, correction notice templates, or other standard forms used by Brick Township Code Enforcement or Zoning personnel in connection with code enforcement, zoning enforcement, property maintenance inspections, vegetation complaints, bamboo complaints, or similar enforcement-related inspections.
To the extent any responsive record contains information exempt from disclosure, including personal identifying information, I request that the exempt information be redacted and the remainder of the record be produced. I am not requesting Social Security numbers, personal home addresses, personal phone numbers, personal email addresses, medical information, banking information, tax records, or other personal identifying information that is exempt from disclosure.
If no responsive records exist for any numbered item, please state “no responsive records” for that item.
If any portion of this request is denied, please identify the specific legal basis for the denial and provide a description of any records withheld.
