OPRA request - Make, model, and photographs of electric bicycle or motorcycle involved in June 3, 2026 crash
Dear Stafford Township,
Please accept this electronic request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form or use a particular software platform to submit my request per NJSA 47:1A-5(f), which states that an email from a requestor including all of the information required on the adopted form shall suffice in place of a completed form as a valid government record request.
I HAVE NOT been convicted of any indictable offense under the laws of New Jersey, any other state, or the United States.
I WILL NOT use the requested government records for a commercial purpose.
I AM NOT seeking records in connection with a legal proceeding.
Records requested:
Records sufficient to identify the make and model of the electric bicycle or motorcycle involved in the crash that occurred on or about June 3, 2026, at or near the intersection of Parker Street and Hillard Boulevard in Stafford Township.
Please also provide any photographs of the electric bicycle or motorcycle involved in the crash.
My preferred delivery method for response(s) to this request is by E-mail as attachments. Please confirm you have received this request. If you are not the custodian of records, please forward my request to that person and provide their email address to me for future reference.

Hello Shannon,
I am not sure what the body-worn camera footage will show; however, there is nothing in the written reports regarding the make, model, manufacturer, or characteristics of the bicycle. Also, just to clarify, are you requesting body-worn camera footage from all responding officers or only the initial responding officer?

Thank you for letting me know about the estimated special service charge.
I understand from the written reports that the identifying decals, serial number, and model information had been removed from the bicycle. My primary objective is simply to visually identify the vehicle involved.
If possible, rather than processing all of the body-worn camera footage, would you be willing to provide a single still image or screenshot from the footage that clearly depicts the bicycle? I believe that would satisfy my request and eliminate the need for extensive redaction.
Alternatively, if an officer is able to identify the make, model, or type of vehicle from the footage, that information alone would also satisfy my request.
