Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act (OPRA), N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., I am requesting copies of any and all records related to a traffic stop involving Jason Carty on December 31, 2024. Specifically, I request:

Incident/Police Reports – Including, but not limited to, the initial report, officer narratives, citations issued, and any supplementary reports.

Body-Worn Camera Footage – Including all available video and audio recordings from responding officers during the traffic stop.

Dash Camera Footage – If applicable, from any police vehicles involved in the stop.

911 Call Records and Dispatch Logs – Any communications related to the traffic stop, including audio and transcripts.

Dear Sherry Marnell,

Due to this persons involvement in local politics and reputation for retribution, I would like to have this video released to my township council woman Kim Burkus. I have spoken to her and she has agreed to pick it up on my behalf and then give me the video privately. I ask that the video be downloaded to a thumb drive and made available to Kim via Chief Spencer.
