I apologize for the delay in getting you this information. We have had some trouble with our tracking program, which has now been resolved.

The Borough of Mount Arlington received your Open Public Records Act (OPRA) request on December 5, 2019. Your request sought the following information:

1) “...a list of all residential properties... that have had water shut off any time between 6/1/2019 and 12/1/2019...":
No records exist responsive to this request. As no records exist, your request for these records is denied. See, Bailey v. Department of Agriculture, GRC Complaint No.: 2003-116, Tyrone Jamison v. City of New Brunswick, GRC Complaint No.: 2013-252.

If your request for access to a government record has been denied or unfilled within the seven (7) business days required by law, you have a right to challenge the decision by the Borough of Mount Arlington to deny access. At your option, you may either institute a proceeding in the Superior court of New Jersey or file a complaint with the Government Records Council (GRC) by completing a Denial of Access Complaint Form. You may contact the GRC by toll-free telephone at 866-850-0511, by mail at P.O. Box 819 Trenton, New Jersey 08625, by e-mail at [email address] or at their web site at www.state.nj.us/grc. The Council can also answer other questions about the law. All questions regarding complaints filed in the Superior Court should be directed to the Court Clerk in your county.
