I am reaching out to request records under the Open Public Records Act (OPRA) and the common law right of access. According to NJSA 47:1A-6(f), this email serves as a valid request for public records.
Could you kindly provide the following property-related records for the period between October 27, 2024, and April 27, 2025:
1. Tax Delinquent
A list of property addresses that have delinquent property taxes. This list needs to include amounts of balances owed.
2. Open Property Liens
A list of property addresses that open Property Liens. This list needs to include open Liens amounts.
3. Water/ Utility Shut Off
All property addresses that had any water and any types of utilities shut off. Please include the amount of balance owed.
4. Code Violation
A list of property addresses that have received any code violations including the type of violation. Please only include a list of all UNRESOLVED or OPEN code violations (please do not include closed violations).
5. Vacant List/ Abandoned
A list of all residential property addresses that are currently vacant or abandoned.
6. Condemned Properties
A list of all residential property addresses that are condemned.
7. Fire Damage List
A list of all property addresses that the fire department has received an emergency call on the dates mentioned above
If possible, please provide each category in separate Excel or PDF files, including full property addresses. Should any data from this period not be available, please share the most recent information you have.

City of Hoboken has received your OPRA request. Please submit an updated reqeust: The N.S.J.A. was updated beginning of September 2024. Under the N.J.S.A. 2C:28-3, you are required to certify three (3) questions that are on the OPRA request form. Attached is a blank new OPRA request form with the three (3) questions. You may use the form or include the three (3) questions in your e-mail. The OPRA request form is also available online. Once we received the updated request. It will be process.
