Dear Mr. Stallone:
The Borough of Oakland Records Custodian has received your Open Public
Records Act (OPRA) request on 8/26/24. The seven (7) business day deadline
to respond to your request is 9/5/24.
 
Your request seeks the following records: Code Violations 6 months, Vacant
list Current, Fire damage list
Attached are the Vacant abandoned list and the Code Violation List.
OPRA allows the records custodian to seek extensions of time pursuant to
N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5i. The Borough requires an additional 7 business days
(until 9/16/2024) to search for and produce the potentially responsive
records in accordance with New Jersey law. The Borough also reserves the
right to request an additional extension of time if necessary. See
Scheeler v. New Jersey Department of Educ., GRC Complaint No. 2014-123
(2016).
We are requesting an extension for the fire damage list. 
PLEASE USE THE ATTACHED UPDATED AND IN EFFECT AS OF 9/3/24 STATE OPEN
PUBLIC RECORDS FORM GOING FORWARD. IT IS ATTACHED FOR YOUR CONVEINENCE.
This response to your request is being provided to you on the third
business day after the custodian’s receipt of said request. These records
are being transmitted to you via email,
as per your request. Your request is now marked as closed and deemed
complete.  Should you have any additional questions, please do not
hesitate to contact our office.
