OPRA Request

The request was successful.

Dear Brielle Borough,

This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
1 All e-mails to or from any member of the governing body from [email address], [email address]; [email address] from January 1, 2017 through present.
2 All e-mails to or from Thomas F. Nolan or Administrator of the governing body from [email address], [email address]; [email address] from January 1, 2017 through present.
3 All e-mails to or from any member of the governing body from [email address] from January 1, 2016 through present;
4 All e-mails to or from Thomas F. Nolan or Administrator of the governing body from [email address] from January 1, 2016 through present.
5 All e-mails to or from any member of the governing body from [email address] from January 1, 2016 through present;
6 All e-mails to or from Thomas F. Nolan or Administrator of the governing body from [email address] from January 1, 2016 through present.

Yours faithfully,

Trevor Jones

Carol Baran, Brielle Borough

Firstly, the OPRA request is too broad. In order to permit compliance we would request that you be more specific as to what e-mails you wish.
However, in this case, the answer is easy. No member of the Governing Body has received or responded to any e-mails from any of the people cited. Thomas Nolan has received e-mails from a [email address], but since he did not recognize the name he deleted them as a matter of course. As a result of your inquiry I now realize that he is a State Senator. Since he represents the 11th Legislative District and Brielle is in the 30th District I see no need to read his e-mails.
No disrespect is intended, but neither I nor any member of the Brielle Municipal Family has had any interaction with Senator Gopal or any of the other people cited.
