Good afternoon – In addition to your OPRA response, the Water Department
has replied with the following:

 

As per State Executive Order, there were no water shut off any time
between 08/14/2020 and 01/14/2021.

 

SUEZ is the licensed Water Utility Operator from DEP for Orange Township. 
We cannot operate the Water Utility without our 3^rd party licensed
operator who is the only party permitted to shut-off someone’s water.

SUEZ customer service generates a list of eligible shut-offs based on DEP
Regulations.  However during CV19, Governor Murphy Signs Executive Order
Extending Utility Shutoff Moratorium Through March 15, 2021.
