"...for the police department" is broad and unclear. Please be advised
that the Open Public Records Act N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1, et seq. establishes
parameters associated with requesting and obtaining copies of public
records. OPRA requests must include sufficient specificity and reasonable
clarity regarding the records being requested. For example, requestors
must identify types of records, dates, parties to correspondence, subject
matter, etc. Additionally, requests requiring research are NOT valid OPRA
requests. See New Jersey Builders Association v. New Jersey Council on
Affordable Housing, 390 N.J.Super. 166, 180 (App. Div. 2007). Additional
