OPRA: Purchase invoice of body worn cameras for the police department
Dear Raritan Borough,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
1. Total number of body cameras currently deployed in the police department.
2. Date on which body cameras were deployed to any of the police officers for the first time (year and month).
3. Invoice of body cameras purchase (if body cameras were purchased).
Yours faithfully,
Taeho Kim
Hello Mr. Kim,
Our departments are still working to fulfill your remaining four OPRA requests. I provided a response to one of your five OPRA requests earlier today by email.
As you can imagine, having just reopened to employees June 22, gathering all of this information is taking some time, especially considering the timeframes and quantity of information in your requests. Rest assured, we are working diligently.
We will need an extension until Wednesday, July 8, 2020 for this request, in our records as OPRA 2020 DC 005. I apologize for the delay, we are doing the best we can with the short staff we have.
You can reach me at the contact information below.
Best,
Eric
