OPRA: Purchase invoice of body worn cameras for the police department
Dear Wall Township,
This is a request for public records made under OPRA and the common law right of access. I am not required to fill out an official form. Please acknowledge receipt of this message.
Records requested:
1. Total number of body cameras currently deployed in the police department.
2. Date on which body cameras were deployed to any of the police officers for the first time (year and month).
3. Invoice of body cameras purchase (if body cameras were purchased).

The Wall Township Clerk’s office is in receipt of your OPRA request and has forwarded to the appropriate departments by copy of this e-mail. Per Assembly Bill No. A3849 of the State of New Jersey, "during a state of emergency, public health emergency, or state of local disaster emergency, a custodian of a government record for a public agency will be required only to make a reasonable effort to respond to a request for a government record within seven business days, or as soon as possible thereafter, as the circumstances permit", as such response is due on or about 6/5/2020. Please refer to this request as 211-2020 in any future correspondence.

The Township received your Open Public Records Act (“OPRA”) request below, on Wednesday, May 27, 2020.
The Township will require 1 additional day following receipt of a request that records custodians are allowed prior to granting access to a government record pursuant to N.J.S.A. 47:1A-5(i). You can expect to receive the Township’s response to your OPRA request on or about May 29, 2020 accordingly.
